The Club Scene

My DJ vocation has not always been spent in nightclubs. My first ever mix was in Linekers in Lanzarote whilst I was meant to be cutting the fruit in my position as pot boy, I think I was 15. I still remember the mix though, Family Stand "Ghetto Heaven" back to back with Kenny Thomas "Best of You". You will be pleased to know I've moved on since then. My first real gig was as a quiz and disco host in a small bar called "The Sportsman", I soon got poached to the big bar upstairs and became the 16 year old Karaoke host at the infamous "New Inn". By the age of 18 I was the resident DJ at Paradise Beach Club where I stayed for the following four years as both DJ and Manager. Following that was a brief spell in Ricks Bar, arguably Lanzarote´s longest established fun pub and then on to The Hippodrome where I stayed until radio came my way. During my break from the club scene I was lucky enough to keep my ear in with guest appearances across the Canaries, the mainland and in the UK. It was in 2007 that I decided to head back to nightlife and that is where you will find me today. As well as being  actively involved in the day to day running of Cesars and Niki Beach, I also organise Special events featuring some of the leading DJ´s from Spain and the UK. I am still active in the DJ Box too, playing retro nights at Niki's and The Old Skool reunion at Cesars in addition to covering the residents when they are away. I am lucky enough to work with some very talented and truly professional lads;
